4/26, Shakespeare Anniversary Lecture, Alice Dailey (Villanova)

If you’re near Abington, PA on 4/26, this promises to be a great lecture!

Dr. Alice Dailey (Associate Professor of English at Villanova University) will give a talk in honor of the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death entitled “Little, Little Graves: Shakespeare’s Photographs of Richard II” on Tuesday April 26, Common Break 12:20-1:20, 9 Sutherland, Penn State Abington Campus. Dailey’s current work connects photography and drama as “commemorative arts” to rethink the role of memory in Shakespeare’s English history plays.

This event was organized by Dr. Marissa Nicosia (English) and sponsored by the Academic Environment Committee and Division of Arts and Humanities.
